Elm is Green Wombat's enterprise class development framework. Its primary purpose is for building B2C web based applications. Its features include.

  • Very light weight - only requires a servlet container to run (i.e. Tomcat), but deployable in to any J2EE container (e.g. BEA Weblogic or IBM Websphere).
  • Minimal server licensing costs - Elm's standard configuration uses Tomcat, Apache and MySQL, deployed on Red Hat Enterprise. 
  • Proven - Used by Trinity Mirror Group for their fantasy sport games, and by ESPN for all of their fantasy soccer games. Ivy CMS is also based on it.
